Fleet documents and expiry dates
Organising your fleet's documents means linking each licence to its vehicle and keeping current documents on file. Not every procedure follows the same calendar: check the information published by the competent authority.
One file per vehicle
Group the licence or permit, number plate, insurance policy and inspection certificate. Record the date shown on each document and keep a copy. If information cannot be fetched automatically, the planned process lets you upload documents manually.
- Licence and the vehicle it belongs to.
- Policy, inspection and documented dates.
- Assigned driver and their permits.
Renewals: check the procedure
Authorities publish requirements and calendars for licence renewals. Use the official source for your activity and territory; do not infer a general expiry date from another vehicle or region.
When preparing a renewal, separate the review reminder, the submission and the decision. Keep the receipt and check the outcome: submitting an application does not mean it is approved.
The planned process with Alfred
The onboarding flow includes confirming licences and plates, manual fallbacks and optional drivers. For driver documents it plans 72-hour upload links reviewed by you; for expiry dates, reminders at 30, 15 and 7 days.
The demo does not activate these links or send real reminders. Ask about setup and service scope for your fleet before relying on an automatic reminder.
